  Dipl.-Soz. Johannes F.K. Schmidt is the scientific coordinator of the long term research project “Niklas Luhmann – A Passion for Theory” (2015-2030) at the Bielefeld University (niklas-luhmann-archiv.de). The objective of this project is to preserve Niklas Luhmann’s literary estate and make it accessible for research. In the last years he published several articles about Luhmann’s literary estate and edited the first version of Luhmann’s lifelong project of a theory of society (Systemtheorie der Gesellschaft, 2017.
